U2 ULTRA-RARE "BOY" AUTHENTICATED WHITE LABEL ORIGINAL 1980 WB TEST PRESSING. THIS ALBUM HAS BEEN IN MY PERSONAL COLLECTION SINCE IT WAS DELIVERED TO MY OFFICE IN BURBANK IN 1980! IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY STORED EVER SINCE. SEE THE PHOTOS!
The disc is labeled as VG++ although it is borderline NM-. There is some discoloration and below surface marks that are cosmetic and do not affect play. I double-checked the disc with a quick replay today. The sound was excellent.
Cover only has the the Island # ILPS 9646 written with a Sharpie pen. The label copy sheet is inside and was never attached to the outside of the cover. Neither my name nor any other appear on the cover. The most recent test pressing copy sold in Dec 2021 for $1200. It originally belonged to a former colleague of mine.

Side A runout and etched: ILPS-1-9646-RE1-S1 + SLM + ^556 Sound Clinic (is etched). Side B runout and etched: ILPS-2-9646-RE1-S2 + SLM + ^556 CAP.LA Jonz (is etched).
