Description
I've been collecting vinyl records for the past 9 years and have decided to put many of them up for sale over the next 6 weeks. Most are highly collectible and with few exceptions, were purchased new and never played.
Extreme care was taken to preserve their integrity. The plastic wrapping that albums get shipped in was removed as to reduce or prevent ring-ware on the outer sleeve. The records were then placed in a high-quality Classic Records' inner-sleeve and placed behind the outer sleeve at which point both were inserted into a 6mm protective sleeve (For this MFSL LP, I kept the original sleeve). This method allows the records to be easily removed without having to tamper with the original inner/outer sleeves thus preventing seam splits and greatly minimizing normal handling ware. These were then stored in a record rack with ample room in a clean, smokeless and otherwise odorless, temperature controlled room.
As with any record, mine could likely benefit from a professional cleaning to bring out their full sonic capabilities (http://bit.ly/LPcleaning). I never did this because I lacked a system to play them on. That being said, they may arrive with some minor fingerprints, dust and/or markings simply from the manufacturing process, storage and/or handling. The lucky owner should administer their own cleaning technique to take them one step closer to analog excellence. Even so, I will try to be as descriptive as possible with each listing.
DESCRIPTION
- Up for your consideration is my prized, LONG out of print, and very desirable copy of Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's 200 gram Anadisc audiophile pressing of U2's "Unforgettable Fire" LP.
- Original gate-fold sleeve was printed on heavy cardboard and is in outstanding shape with solid corners, a crisp spine, and no ring-ware. It easily earns "mint" status. The record is in an equally gorgeous state likewise earning "mint" status..:)

- Auction ends Monday 10:00 PM EST and ships Thursday 3:00 PM EST. PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN THIS WINDOW. Payments ONLY via PayPal. No other forms of payment accepted - NO exceptions!
- Within the United States - $4.00 via USPS Media Mail (usually 2-9 business days to arrive) with each additional record $1.50.
- International Shipping - $14.00 for Canada, $18.00 for Central & South America, Europe (NOT Italy), Australia and Japan with each additional record $3.00. I DO NOT SHIP ANYWHERE ELSE. Also, item ships ONLY after money enters my bank account for international orders.
