U2 - VERTIGO - 12" VINYL PROMO CLOSE TO THE EDGE MIX SFB HOUSE
This item is brand new, in mint condition and has not been played.
One Track 12" one sided vinyl promo from Australia.
Island records had planned for this mix by SFB of Vertigo to be the preferred mix but it was scrapped at the last minute in favour of the other mix versions by Jack Knife Lee which are commercially available.
Before the decision to scrap the SFB mix was made, 800 one sided white label DJ promos were pressed up by Island with the catalougue number 12IS878DJA (etched on the vinyl). This item does not come in an inner sleave. It is in a standard black cover of which the picture below is on the front with the back plain black.
THIS RECORD HAS ONLY BEEN AVAIABLE FOR SALE IN AUSTRALIA AND HAS LONG BEEN SOLD OUT. ALTHOUGH 800 WERE PRESSED IT IS BELIEVED THAT ONLY A FRACTION OF THAT AMOUNT ACTUALLY MADE THIER WAY INTO THE PUBLIC DOMAIN.
