Description

U2 Vertigo (MEGA RARE 2004 UK promo-only 7" vinyl format including Jacknife Lee 7" mix, in rare custom MATT card picture sleeve U2PRO2 - this track was only commercially released on vinyl as a 12" single in the UK and this is the rarest of all the Vertigo promo's - even scarcer than the legendary 10" release! ). In MINT unplayed condition.This item came with 2 different sleeves. This sleeve is printed on MATT card and is the original packaging for the promo release.

All other stock for this release (10" etc) that was made by the record company came in MATT sleeves. It was a mistake to issue the 7" in GLOSSY card, but by the time the MATT card sleeves arrived separately from the manufacturer, nearly all 300 promotional 7" had been sent out in GLOSSY sleeves (deadlines, deadlines, deadlines). The remaining 30 or so were swapped into MATT sleeves and sent out.
