Coming up on its FORTIETH anniversary, Irish rock superstars U2 released their third studio album 'War' in 1983. This great classic put U2 on the map, and paved the way for their eventual world domination! The entire record is awesome, and gave the world such hits as "New Year's Day", "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "Two Hearts Beat as One", and "40". Up for grabs today is a rare copy of the black rimmed version, (there is also a clear rimmed version that came out).

The vinyl itself looks pretty good. The A side looks better than the B side, as the B side has a few very light surface marks on it. Was maybe hung up and displayed previously? I cannot vouch for the sound quality as I never play picture discs. And these older ones, from the 70s and the 80s, usually sound pretty bad anyway.
