U2 and BB KIng Ultrare RED vinyl Angel Of Harlem . Only 250 pressed.

This is an extremely  nice  copy of the single - Angel Of Harlem  by the great U2    It is from the movie Rattle And Hum.  . Issued here on the Island  pressed in Australia at the time by the Festival . Very shortly after  Island  moved to Polygram.  . These  are very much  a rarity , Australian only and  with only 250 ever being produced- of course no-one knew that at the time. Featuring the immensely talented Mr BB King the  song is a classic  and the Lovetown Tour showed the unit as a tower of strength. The B-side is a song entitled  - A Room At The Heartbreak Hotel . yes - this was also issued on black vinyl though even that seems scarce. ( Take note  serious U2 fans ) .

It is worth noting - these have trade hands  before at over $400 . They are that rare. It is in extremely good  condition and that is all I can say

This piece has been look ed after though I hasten to add being a copy from the tropical location  and the original delivery seeing it  stored with the red vinyl against the plastic  outer - it is  virtually impossible to find a copy without the chenical "bleaching" effect ( on one side ) -   created by the interaction of vinyl against vinyl. No doubt created by the humidity. It will play fine and one side will appear fine but it is common knowledge that the bleached appearance is part of their delivery. If you search  the rarest U2 records of all - this is regarded as one of the top 20. It is in excellent condition other than the bleaching. I do not keep it in the original plastic outer provided by Festival as THAT was the piece that caused the bleaching. Incidentally - theseonly came witha picture label- Elvis on one side  and Billie Holliday ( who this song was about on the other). it is possible there may be a coloured test press with a white label but have never sighted one ( have seen several for D  e  s i r e . I spaced that so it won't come up ina  search. its believed that press is probably about 15 or so copies. but THAT is not gospel.

I have revised the klist price  at $325  with a buy now option- unaware  that someone else had one on. Apologies  to any bidders or sellers. There's are extraordinarily rare  .

 As   you will see later I do have one thing  and that is the buyer will be responsible  for  postage -  at a secure  rate - (Aus Post  does not   register  to all countries so -  bearing that in mind -) I can do my best -  but  I will ship anywhere - but in the end -  either  an alternative is found ,   a document  waiving me of   any obligations once an item is sent -  or the  right to cancel the whole deal and refund your money . I have only ever had one thing  sent by me  go astray - and I advised them of the number  but - it turned up. 

 Canada   and similar countries  where reistered is not an option -  I will only ship via courier - thanks to the lack of communication and the fact Aus post does not insure or register to there.  I would also point out - I have never had anyone say that my item is too  shabby or  that it was badly packed.
