Description

Released by United Artists in 1972, cat # UP 35392; this is “Slow Death” / “Tallahassee Lassie” by the Flamin’ Groovies.

 

This is a promotional-only release with the elusive picture sleeve. The release date of the 30th June  1972 is printed on the labels with the usual script…

 

There is one tiny mark at the end of the A-side that makes a sound after the track has finished. The record is otherwise unmarked and most likely unplayed until I played it for the test play. The picture sleeve has slight storage wear but no damage due to handling. The sleeve grades as excellent.

 

The record also comes with four pages of biography notes, printed on blue paper that is in fine condition.

 

This is possibly the most elusive Flamin Groovies UK release; only one other has surfaced in June last year, without the insert……….

 

All of these records come from the collection of an original Sixties DJ’s who learnt his trade in the ballrooms and clubs before progressing to radio and production. The vast majority of the collection is either unplayed or at worst played once or twice!

 

Postage and packing will be just 90p for UK First Class potage; £1.45 for European customers and £2.19 for USA and the Rest of the World. Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers and is expected for all overseas customers. Traditional payments for UK customers are most welcome.
