Red Label Stereo Original UK pressing 1971 LABEL / LABELCODE MATRIX NUMBERS EXTRAS GRADING Beacon BES 12 BEAS 12 A-1 & B-1 Laminated Single Cover EX++/EX++ DESCRIPTION UFO’s success story began in 1969, when Phil Mogg and Pete Way formed the band in England. They borrowed their name from a legendary London music club, impressed audiences with their unmistakable style and proved with their debut killer UFO 1. It was released in 1970. At this point the group consisted of vocalist Phil Mogg, basisst Pete Way, guitarist Mick Bolton, and drummer Andy Parker. CONDITIONS RECORD: Visually both sides are deep shiney black and has all of its original gloss, seen in critical 100W light! Both sides are in EXCELLENT++ condition with only small amount of tiny hair line marks from being removed from the inner sleeve and a few non-audible scuffs. Both sides of this great album play without almost any clicks, pops or crackles. No scratches. The sound quality is full and unworn. LABELS: Both labels in EXCELLENT+ condition with only minimal spindle marks. COVER: Laminated single cover in pristine conditon!!! Rare in this condition! No creases. No tape. No splits. No writings, no stamps, no stickers. No edge and spine wear! No ring wear! Only a little lamination lifting along the spine. Hardly to be seen!! This wonderful cover must be grade as EXCELLENT++ if not better!!! SUMMARY Their great debut killer with blues influences and loads of freaked out acid guitar work!! In an amazing condition!
