Description

Outstanding northern soul 45 instrumental funky gem featuring THE U-F-O’s on the RISING-SOUL label from 1968. 

 

Titles are “Too Hot to Hold” and “La-La Means I Love You.” 

 

This is a stock copy, orange label with black print.  Catalog number is RS-102. 

 

Guaranteed to be authentic and original.   I do not sell bootlegs or modern reissues. 

 

Condition of vinyl is solid EX to NM with full original gloss.  The “B” side has a couple very slight scuffs that do not affect the playing, while the “Too Hot” side is flawless.  The fidelity is superb as you can hear in the sound clip below.  I think the winning bidder will be extremely pleased.

 

NOTE:  The collector from whom I purchased this collection added an extra touch to some of his records by colouring portions of the labels in various hues to uniquely identify them as his own.  As a result, the “Too Hot to Hold” side of this record has a pristine orange label, while the “La-La” side has some markings in red felt pen.  I included scans of both sides so there are no surprises, and to allow you can see his unusual and harmless artwork.
