One of a handful of Classical rarities we have just had in, see our ebay store for more.
1W1W Decca WB SXL 6398 Mehta & the LSO in Hindemith: Weber Themes & Janacek: Sinfonietta. The first of these is described as "a cheerful celebration of diatonic melody, colourfully orchestrated, directly expressed and put together with considerable skill and some wit" Janacek described his own work as "a very nice Sinfonietta with fanfares". A fair summation for both works here.
Just one fine non sounding mark to one playing surface, Near Mint condition record, in a Near Mint sleeve. Record is not warped, labels are clean with very few spindle marks. Company inner included.
