Description
This is my original EX / G vinyl pressing on UK COXSONE Records of this RARE VINYL LP - CSL 8009, JACKIE MITTOO- "JACKIE MITTOO IN LONDON". The sleeve is in great general shape with a very white card rear. There are a number of small laminate creases coming in from the edge, but the sleeve is strong and firm and the spine is fully readable. The disc is `in good general shape with side 1 playing fine. However side 2 has three visible scratches and these are audible sometimes and because of this I have to list as G only. Me, I like my reggae with noise - thats the way it always has been! However, please be aware when bidding. So, who put the scratches on the record...? It wasn't me! This copy was given to me by one of the great British keyboard players of the period, a fan of Jackies and this LP in particular! And this was his original copy from the day of release! He was unique in one special way. His career crossed between the world of Jamaican music and UK Progressive Rock and he left his mark in both camps! The winner will get a letter of authenticity as to who the album belonged to and the connection with me! Any guesses, please send me a mail via ebay messages.
Because of the infamous reggae auction busters - no bids from anyone less that 5 ebay stars. I will simply cancel bids without question. If in doubt right to me via ebay messaging.
**************I am introducing a cheaper postage service. My standard one at £3.50 allows me to remove the record from the sleeve and divide between three pieces of new corrugated card, which is then placed in a new record mailer, sealed and taped and sent 2nd class. (Please note - ebay will not let me list two 2nd class services, so just to be clear, the £3.50 service which states 1st class will be mailed 2nd class!). I have never had a complaint about records being damaged or sleeve corners being bent in the post using this system. However some buyers, particularly of cheaper items do not want to spend so much, so for £2.50 I will pack the record & sleeve in the three pieces of card, tape around the edges and send second class. Thus saving a pound on postage of cheaper items whilst still giving a decent level of protection. Its up to you.********************
