Description

The incomparable UK Decca stereo SXL 2017,  of Stravinsky's Fire Bird,  conducted by Ernest Ansermet, with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.  A propulsive performance, in great sound. 

A rather scarce UK grooved wide band ED1 "Original Recording by" pressing.  Play-graded with a Grado 1042 cartridge--Music Hall MMF-5 TT.  The disc looks splendid and glossy, and plays the same way, NM.  Extremely quiet and dynamic. 

The floppy scalloped sleeve is sharp-edged, crisp and bright--but with areas of yellowing on the back--so VG+.   Original price tag is dated March, 1960.

New Acoustic Sounds inner sleeve added to the original, and mylar outer sleeve.
