Description

Decca SXLH 6610/13 4LP set in box. UK pressing. This issue has the first edition of the Brahms Symphony 1

 

Brahms Four Symphonies and Haydn Variations by the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Istvan Kertesz.. (Finale Haydn recorded by the VPO without conductor in tribute to Istvan Kertesz who suddenly died in 1973).

 

Recordings made in 1964 and 1972/3.

 

Vinyl in EX+ condition.

 

Complete with booklet.
