One of an outstanding collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, all nice clean originals from a retired reviewer. We combine postage to save you money, bid on as many as you like.
Near mint 1st press UK Decca SXL 6136 Kodaly: Orchestral Music. A famous Decca audiophile recording, featured in the AS 'Basic List'.
UK earliest issue from 1964. This unusual combination of Original Recording By (side 1) and Made in England (side 2) is first labels for this, as others in the past seem to share this type only from what I can see, nobody has pics of a S2 ED1 in the history of listing I could find, and many claim the ED2 both sides as a first pressing. As the transition from the one to the other happens around here in the catalogue, and the masterings of the two sides are always 1E2W as a lowest issue, this makes sense. These are the lowest stampers my research shows for this lp.
