Description
This is from a very exciting new in collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
Earliest type pressing of Uk UK Decca SXL 6355 Albeniz Espanola Suite Frühbeck de Burgos with most desirable Ted burkett mastered 1G1G stampers and featured on The Absolute Sound list of finest audiophile recordings for its naturalness and vivacity. There are few more exciting sounds on lp of classical works than the "Asturias" here. The orchestration is by the conductor and is first rate.
I know the value of this record, so have gone to a great degree of trouble to ensure the grading is precise. One non feelable fine mark in a v shape to the start of side 2 did not sound on my high end system heard with a moving coil over the normal listening volume, and there are no other marks of any nature. All of the lp listened to, to ensure the playgrade maintained its near mint start, and it was Near Mint throughout.
This record is visually Near Mint, in an excellent sleeve, record is not warped, labels are clean.Good selection of rarities in my list this week..
