SYNTHESIZER AND PERCUSSION MUSIC LIBRARY Lp by ALAN HAWKSHAW & BRIAN BENNETT. Original UK pressing on the ultra-collectable THEMES Label (TIM 1012) from 1973. Oh boy!.. If you've ever seen this killer Lp on Ebay before and never bid, you made a big mistake! This is by far one of the funkiest and fresh sounding synth-laced funk Libraries out there with more than enough breaks, beats and druggy, fluid grooves for DJs! Yet another very serious session from the master UK librarians and if you are into funky synthesizers, drums, percussion and breaks, then this Lp will slay you!!! PACESETTER, HOME RUN and DRIVING FORCE are very, very funky with some mad percussion breaks and driving drums splicing the delirious synth! The arrangements get deeper and funkier on each track with DRIVING FORCE going for a particular, crunching sound with twisted synth motifs and some heavy cowbell action! For us, the jewel on the whole Lp is the bumpin' synth-funk of ODDBALL featuring killer drum patterns on a funky hip hop tip! Brilliant stuff for that prime-time DJ moment! Lots more tuff and funky breakbeat drums on the hazy MILE HIGH SWINGER vers. A with trippy, synth licks, and rolling congas! It's alter ego, MILE HIGH SWINGER vers. B, is way more stripped down with just solo congas, percussion and synth. AUTO PILOT features the synth switched to fender rhodes mode with uptempo drums, percussion and shakers for extra groove and MON AMOUR is just like a cutting edge rhythm track a progressive R&B / Hip hop producer would love to use! All you need is to add in that Neptunes style soulful rap for maximum impact! Spaced-out, bouncy keyboards and drums all the way! With other titles like ACTION MAN and FUNKY CHICKEN etc, we think you get the picture?!? A killer Lp for UK (and European) Library fans, DJs, producers and beat-headz!!! Vinyl is in shiny M- condition with just a couple of light scuffs and superficial scratches. Amazing sound quality! The picture sleeve has been graded strong VG++ with light wear.
