We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. CLEAN COLLECTION COPY - BRITISH ONLY ISSUE in old style unipack gatefold ... this was the first collection of Peter Green & Fleetwood Mac HIGHLIGHTS LP --- and what a wonderful two sides, impeccably well laid out & unique tracking selection, one solid tune after another throughout both sides, all winners....
This early '70s British only issue offers lots of non-album tracks and B-sides, plus the best of the early material all in one place. A great place to ENJOY if you're listening to the UK '60s blues-boom years. Here, the original Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac gives you a lesson of British Blues and guitar under the wing of producer Mike Vernon.
First, the Chicago Blues tracks such as "Shake Your Money Maker", "Rattle Snake Shake" and "Stop Messing 'Round" are perfect examples of this revival British Blues genre with gorgeous guitar playing by Pete and also the required raunchy singing.
Second, you can hear the emotional songs like the ethereal guitar playing in "Albatross" backed by surprising kettledrums instead of bass guitar; The poignant "Man of the World" with a bunch of guitars in arpeggios and sad singing; or the amazing original version of "Black Magic Woman" later covered by Santana. "Oh Well Part 1 & 2", first single released by Reprise is a strange mixture of blues, psychedelic music and classical in the end. The guitars parts are outstanding again.
At last, the opening track "The Green Manalishi" is really devilish with its obsessional bass line. Peter Green imagined this track from a nightmare, and it really feels so.
"Dragonfly", first single released after the departure of Peter Green is a nice track with a strange lead guitar sound. The voices are closer to the Beatles than the previous Fleetwood Mac releases.
