Description

RCA Victrola Stereo VICS 1153, first grooved maroon label disc, pressed in England by Decca.  Stampers are 3K 2K.  Laminated jacket.  Original recording by RCA, but never issued as a Living Stereo LSC.  Not issued by Decca in the SB Living Stereo series.  This is the first UK issue.  First US stereo issue on disc was on Victrola, same catalog number.

Leonid Kogan plays the Khachaturian Violin Concerto and the Saint-Saens Havanaise, with Pierre Monteux and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.  See pics for program details.
