Description

This auction is for the 7 inch vinyl single 'Teenage' by the UK Subs. I bought it new & then took it along to a personal appearance that the band were making at a local record shop ('The Beat Goes On' in Cambridge which was part of the Andy's Records chain) There the band signed the sleeve, prior to a gig they were to play that night at the Cambridge Corn Exchange, supported by Anti-Pasti! This is the original (and best) Paul Slack, Pete Davis, Nicky Garret line-up. When Nicky signed the record he also scrubbed out the face of the executive in the suit with the biro! Whilst I have kept the record as safely as I could there is one little skip on 'Left For Dead' and also one on 'Teenage' which I can't understand as I see or hear no scratches; it just suddenly skips tho'. I am playing it on a super-sensitive Luxman turn-table tho'?! Anyway, full disclosure and pretty rare in pink, first pressing, with the signatures!
Will be well packed between boards to ensure it's kept flat in the post and then sent out using a tracked postal option.
