THE SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND - This Is (2001 Metronome 200.173 , Germany mid 70ies)
This is in fact the 2nd pressing from the LP "The Joker Is Wild" (released 1972 - also on "Metronome") in a different cover and released a few years later......... Alex Harvey recorded this album in early 1972 in London with helps from some mates, also with his brother Leslie Harvey (from STONE THE CROWS) on guitar.......and not with the SAHB (played with them later for some years, after recording this LP - a little confusing, but I think the the company would made cash, ´cause in the mid 70ies the SAHB were successful for some times..........) But all in all, this is a fine bluesy heavy rock album - comes in fully laminated cover.........
The record is in top excellent plus (ex+) condition, the few harmless paper scuffs made nothing.......
The cover is also in top excellent plus (ex+) condition, showing only small "lamination bubblings" on the side of the spine.........

Also you´re bidding on vinyl records and NOT for CDs......that means, that also new vinyl records can make static or tiny surface cracklings here and there. Also some of the old recordings, especially the obscure privat pressings have NOT a HiFi demonstration recording sound....
