MR. FOX - The Gipsy (Transatlantic TRA 236 , UK 1971)
Here we have an UK original pressing, on the "purple / white" Transatlantic label, of their great 2nd album, released in May 1971. An excellent acoustic / electric psych folk rock album around the collective from Bob and Carole Pegg. Comes in original "wrap around" (Sorry - the "plastic sleeve insert" is missing !) non laminated gatefold cover. Matrix numbers are: TRA 236 A-2U / TRA 236 B-2U
The "wrap around only" cover is in very good to very good plus (vg/vg+) condition, shows some wear on corners and spine. Some crinkles and yellowing (think from a tape residue) on the middle of the inner cover. Light beginning of ringwear on back cover
The record is also in very good to very good plus (vg/vg+) condition, shows some paper scuffs / hairlines and (a few longer) surface marks - plays with some surface cracklings in the background, here and there some soft clicks - but NOT in a loud or disturbing way, it´s NOT a "campfire" record

Imortant: Please don´t bid on "G" or "VG" records, and then you are disappointed if you don´t become a MINT copy - unfortunately this is not possible. Also you are bidding on vinyl records - and NOT CDs - that means, that also new records made some surface cracklings here and there and some of the old (especially privat pressings) are NOT hifi demonstration records !!!
