PAUL BRETT SAGE - Same ( Pye 80 919 IT, Germany 1970 )
Paul Brett is an excellent guitar man and played in several notable 60ies / 70ies bands like The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, on Roy Harper´s 1st album (Sophisticated Beggar), Tintern Abbey, Elmer Gantry´s Velvet Opera, Fire (on their legendary "Magic Shoemaker" LP), with the Strawbs.....This is his 1st album with his own band with Bob Voice on percussions and Dick Dufall on bass guitar (both played with him on Fire´s Magic Shoemaker album) and the a great flute / sax (mainly flutes) player named Nicky Higginbottom. Musically an excellent amalgam of hippie folk tracks alternate with melodic psych infected numbers. Also not so easy to find as 1st pressing on the blue Pye label.
The laminated cover is in top excellent to excellent plus (ex/ex+) condition
The record is in top excellent (ex) condition, showing some paper scuffs / hairlines only - here and there soft surface clickings in the background only
