CARAVAN - Same (Verve Forecast SVLP 6011 stereo, UK 1968)
Here we have the very rare UK 1st pressing of the 1st album from this wellknown Canterbury band - released in October 1968. A masterpiece in this field from Richard Coughlan, Pye Hastings, Richard and David Sinclair - I think musically this LP needs no further description. Comes in front laminated flipback cover, label reads "Made In Gt. Britain" on top side of the label, also under the "Verve Forecast" logo "Made under licence from Metro Goldwyn Mayer Inc., owners of the trademark Verve". Matric endings are A1/B1
The front laminated flipback cover is in very good plus to excellent minus (vg+/ex-) condition, shows tiny wear on corners, some crinkles on the laminations, a very tiny wear / mini split at bottom seam. Top seam and spine are top.
The record is also in very good plus to excellent minus (vg+/ex-) condition, shows some paper scuffs, hairlines, a few longer hairlines (NO marks or scratches). Plays great - only soft surface cracklings in the background in places - NOT in a loud or disturbing way
