Description

PINK FLOYD - The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (Columbia SCTX 340568, France 1967)
Their great groundbreaking debut album - vinyl is the 1st pressing on the "dark green BIEM" label with silver lettering - the front laminated flipback cover is, to my knowledge, the 2nd edition (think the 1st edition of this album has a white back cover, but don´t know it exactly - this copy has the grey back cover). Matrix numbers are: YAX 3419 21 M6 256070 / YAX 3420 21 M6 256071
The cover is in very good (vg) condition, shows some wear on the corners, lamination crinkles on front cover, some discolouration and crinkles on back cover, a name is written on the right bottom side of the back cover with a blue pen (see scan), spine and seams are intact
The record is in very good plus (vg+) condition, showing several paper scuffs / hairlines, a few tiny surface marks - plays with surface cracklings in the background here and there

Imortant: Please don´t bid on "G" or "VG" records, and then you are disappointed if you don´t become a MINT copy - unfortunately this is not possible. Also you are bidding on vinyl records - and NOT CDs - that means, that also new records made some surface cracklings here and there and some of the old (especially privat pressings) are NOT hifi demonstration records !!!
