Description

BEATLES ULTRA MEGA RARE ONLY ISSUED IN 1969 7" WHITE CANADIAN 'THE BEATLES ON APPLE' TAB-CUT ORIGINAL IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND SLEEVE

Gorgeous 'The Beatles on Apple' Super rare WHITE company 7" Apple sleeve.
NO rips, NO Tears, NO seam splits, NO price stickers, NO glue NO writing !!
Apparently there was some writing on the back of the sleeve from 50 years ago that was whited out at some point. Other then that, very clean, and the tab-cut side is so gorgeous that this one would be awesome for framing !! If you look around, these are impossible to find anywhere in the world !!

This amazing sleeve was issued only in May to October 1969 on Beatles 45s pressed by Compo, in Canada. Records pressed by RCA used the more common Black. Earlier, and some later Beatles and other Apple artists, including early John Lennon singles, were issued with white sleeves on 45's pressed by Compo, that just had the word 'Apple' on the sleeve. They only used 'The Beatles on Apple' for a few months. The only three Canadian Beatles singled, pressed by Compo, where they used this super rare white sleeve were Hey Jude/Revolution and Get Back/Don't Let Me Down, both released in Canada May 5th, 1969, and Something/Come Together released October 6th, 1969, credited as The Beatles with Billy Preston.

The paper stock of these sleeves are less then half as thick as that of the Black sleeves, and that is why not many of these are known to exist today. Most, if not all, got ripped or worn out quickly and were thrown out.
