Description
THIS IS A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL 1965 RELEASE OF THE MARIANNE FAITHFULL LP “COME MY WAY” ISSUED IN THE UK ON THE MONO RED DECCA LABEL AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! I BELIEVE THIS IS A FIRST PRESSING (PLEASE EMAIL ME IF IT IS NOT SO THAT I CAN AMEND THIS DESCRIPTION). THE VINYL IS IN MINT CONDITION. THE SLEEVE IS AMAZINGLY WELL PRESERVED FOR ITS AGE. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is LK 44688 on the UK RED DECCA label and is in Mono. Matrix numbers are ARL 6747-1A and ARL 6747-2A.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear and NO writing. There are A NUMBER OF LIGHT spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS ONLY BEEN PLAYED ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO groovewear, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The laminated cover is in AMAZING condition! It has NO wear to spine. The front cover has nine horizontal creases from the spine due to being stored in a record shop rack. The longest crease is 1cm and the shortest 0.25cm. Much of the left side of the front cover has VERY LIGHT vertical creasing 0.75cm from the spine. There is only the TINIEST HINT of cornerwear to the EXTREME corners of the front cover. There are NO creases to the main body of the cover. There is NO rubbing to the front cover and NO ringwear. There is ONLY THE TINIEST HINT OF edgewear to the open edges. There is some discolouration at the EXTREME opening edges of the front cover. The front cover FULLY retains its initial glossy look (see picture).
The only blemishes to the back cover are VERY MINOR discolouration to the top and bottom edges, a FAIRLY LIGHT 8cm diagonal crease starting 11cm from the bottom left corner, SLIGHT ringwear to the top and a 3cm light brown vertical stain 3cm from the bottom right corner (see picture).
Overall the cover is firm and strong and looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY WELL PRESERVED FOR ITS AGE.
THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! DONT MISS OUT!

For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover. All items are fully insured.
