ARENSKI: Scherzo.
ZACHAREWITSCH was a pupil of SEVCIK and YSAYE.
A very rare record, sorry with one serious defect described below, but overwise with still nice sounding presence - and really deserving to be known.
In dead wax: 2226 ab / 2221 ab
SLEEVE CONDITION: (later Gramophone) VG RECORD CONDITION : Visual = poor (numerous scratches, accidents including 1 serious dig, average greying) /// Playgraded: the background is VG-/VG ; 1 obvious dig on beginning of Bazzini, 6 mm long, concentric, 4 rev. large = 5 loud cracks and 1 jump (better not to use a brand new needle) ; other accidents, less or more at 5 places by side, make 2/3 cracks ; overwise very acceptable wax presence, with occasional clicks /// good dynamics and clear sound despite the visual condition.
