Description
This is a lovely item for Ultravox | John Foxx | Punk collectors generally; 2 x 1 sided 7" white label test pressings for the Ultravox "Live" 7" EP on Island from 1978. 2 huge points of interest: 1) that they play at 45 so they are tests for the v.ltd DJ Promo edition of it, not the commercial edition which plays at 33 (personally i have tests at 33 and 45 so there are sets for each) and 2) these were formerly owned and bought from the estate of the late Chris Cross! ....So these were his own! (i can maybe send the buyer an email that shows these were in a stash i bought from his sale if required?)
condition wise, the discs themselves are lovely- it's a shame Chris pushed out the centre of Side B's disc mind you! the white covers they came in are nicely date stamped for Feb 1978 and have handwritten run out groove numbers, but they do show their age a bit.
really lovely item coming direct from the bands' bassist and priced well as i had 2 sets so these can go to another fan....
