We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. So here is a unique UNBOXED 1970 first issue of the legendary meaty garage beat & punk grinder  >>> "THEM" led by the snarl snotty vocals of young Van Morrison. This Lp is lean, tough and mean with a driving back beat captivating full-on rave-ups! The big hit GLORIA is included and was a massive popular influential tune in that near all fledging garage bands in America covered the track, even though none could ever equal the impact of THEM's version ...even the Shadows Of Knight who rode the tune to a top radio 40 hit issued a decidedly weaker version when Them's version was more explicit lyrically causing radio stations to shy away...and that's not all, there's a bunch of classic ravers here, including "Mystic Eyes", "One Two Brown Eyes", "Here Comes The Night" and a slew more alike...

Not strictly just a British rock group, but packaged as part of the British Invasion, Them forged their hard-nosed R&B sound in Belfast, Ireland, moving to England in 1964 after landing a deal with Decca Records. The band's simmering sound was dominated by boiling organ riffs, lean guitars, and the tough vocals of lead singer Van Morrison, whose recordings with Them rank among the very best performances of the British Invasion.

To this day, nobody knows who played on many of these tracks other than Van Morrison and bassist Alan Henderson, though it is known that Jimmy Page was seldom very far away when Them was recording as Page, then a top studio session man, injects his guitar all over this album. The material bounces from a surprisingly restrained "I Put a Spell on You" to the garage-punkoid "One two Brown Eyes." Folk-rock rears its head not only on the moody cover of Dylan's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" but also the tune "Don't Start Cryin' Now" injects a main thrust of soul, which Morrison oozes everywhere -- his is a voice that could easily have knocked Mick Jagger or Eric Burdon off their respective perches!

CONDITION: The cover: Very fragile, laminated European cover rated: VG++ / near "EX" collection worthy solid all over ...still with nice bright original colors, has no delete marks, no seam splits, no bends, no writing  ...

The vinyl: is all glossy both sides, rated: near"M-" smooth and shiny,  NO marks, so the deep groove 1965 pressing plays perfect and provides 100% full enjoyment ... both UNBOXED DECCA labels are clean
