Uncle Dave Macon

All In Down And Out Blues

Recorded in 1937, towards the end of the Great Depression, this song laments the treatment of the stock brokers, or “bucket shops”. The singer is dispondent, with the refrain "I used to have money to throw away, But now I haven't a place to say, It's hard times, Billy Po' boy, It's hard times when you're down and out."

Some fainter surface marks and some dulling, nice overall condition.
