Description
This is stunning. What a record. The Underdogs Blues Band has long held a reputation as perhaps the best blues psychrock outfit ever to come out of New Zealand. Fronted by vocalist Murray Grindley this album - released in 1967 - has been a fave with collectors for years now. It literally smokes. The cover is beautiful- VG++ at least. Light creasing on the bottom right corner,a tiny peel of the covering on the spine, a few light marks but all in all VG++ at least. The vinyl is VG visually, plays better. Thick vinyl has lots of light hairlines and some stronger marks but the only mark that catches is on the second track on side two and then it is only a light click. I've played it all the way through twice and it was a top listen. Some background crackling but nothing that spoils the music. This mono original NZ pressing on the purple Zodiac label (ZLP 1033) is a good copy of a very rare album.
