Release date: early 1971.  Recording date: October 1970.

On offer here is an EXTREMELY RARE original issue of the second album by Auckland-based rock band, THE UNDERDOGS (originally known as THE UNDERDOGS BLUES BAND).  There is some incredible wasted HEAVY ACID ROCK on this LP, a significant departure from the band’s earlier BLUES output.  “It’s a Blessing” demonstrates that these guys can also play some really mean FUNK ROCK.  I really dig this album.  Check out the YouTube links below!

VG++ laminated with a great appearance overall: minor handling wear with creasing (mainly along spine, top & bottom seams) and ring-wear/rubbing (hard to see in normal light), surface tear near spine (back cover, 100mm from top).

Record:

VG++ visual: beautiful glossy sheen—few light surface scuffs only (VG++ to EX); audible: CRISP and VIBRANT SOUND despite some underlying surface noise; labels: moderate spindle wear (side 1) & heavy spindle wear (side 2).
