Description

Here´s an original copy of THE UNDERDOGS (Pig,Mann & Edwards) - Waisting Our Time, released 1970 in New Zealand on Pye (blue) ARBS 109. A very rare and great album with impossible fuzz guitar assaults by Harvey Mann (Spacefarm,Human Instinct,Living Force), Neil Edwards (Human Instinct) on "talking frog" bass and Glen Absolum (Living Force) on Drums. Unbelievable but just got a real mint-copy and here's my old one. Can't recommend this one high enough...A must.  

Condition cover: m--, the fragile fully laminated sleeve is in great shape. Just light cornerwear especially on bottom, lightest spinewear where the record goes in and a few lamination creases along the seams. The flipbackcover is  m-(-) with only a few creases. Removeable NZBC-Sticker on back. Backspine is perfect readable so it's difficult to find a better sleeve.  

Condition record: vg-, not easy to grade as the first 45 seconds on side one are "poor". It's nothing to see so I think it should be a vinyl fault. 1 ugly looking mark on A 6 which causes 20 clicks but no jump or stick. There are really a lot of visual hairlines and paperscuffs, also some light marks but it plays great with just some background noises between the tracks and in quiet parts (A 4). Side 2 plays much better then it looks, vg(+) I'd say. Plays often ex or even m- especially monster-track "It's a blessing" plays almost perfect. Still a keeper copy.

I should mention that my gradings are visualy AND audible taken on a Wilson Benesch Act Two turntable armed with Sumiko Blue Point Special cartridge and this combination is absolutely merciless and doesn't lie...I'm just a collector and don't like overgraded records so much...
