Description
This is one of a number of records I am selling on behalf of an old friend of mine, who (like me) is thinning his shelves. I have all the records here, and have graded as conservatively as always. Whilst some of these look at bit "scruffy" all those I've play-checked play better than graded. Good luck!
PLEASE NOTE:-Thanks to a change to Ebay regulations, it seems I can no longer sell on Ebay.com. Therefore I now have to list items on Ebay.co.uk., which I didn't want to do, as Ebay.com ensures that any listing gets a world-wide viewing. Just hope everyone can find me!
POSTAGE and SHIPPING Ebay have now stated that there should be precise shipping charges quoted for any item listed. That's fine for individual items, but with records it is impossible to quote accurately until you know how many records a bidder has won. THEREFORE THE FIGURES I HAVE PUT IN FOR SHIPPING ARE THE COSTS FOR SHIPPING THIS ONE ITEM, AND IF YOU WIN MORE THAN ONE ITEM THEN THIS WILL NOT BE THE FINAL SHIPPING COST. I'm sure most bidders will be only too aware of this, but I thought it only fair to make it clear. As a very general rule, one record shipped to an English address would work out at approx. £6, which would include the cost of the box sets I always use. (These cost me £3.50 per set, and you will see how good they are from the feedback I've received.) One disc to the USA works out at $25, again including the cost of the box. Obviously, a parcel with three or four discs works out cheaper per disc. I normally ship overseas at Air Mail, Small Packet rate. (I will ship via Surface Mail if asked, but this usually means you wait up to eight weeks for your parcel.....and, curiously, it's not that much cheaper!) As always, if anyone is concerned about shipping costs please contact me before the listing ends, and I'll do my best to help.
AND FINALLY...we get to the disc itself........
An unissued side by the legendary Gracie Fields, from what appears to be an unlisted recording session at the end of June, 1931. Orchestral Accomp. directed by Ray Noble. Sadly only graded at V, it plays as such on my set-up here.
A VERY SCARCE AND DESIRABLE ITEM - DON'T MISS OUT!
IN VIEW OF THE HIGH COSTS OF SHIPPING THESE DAYS, I'M MORE THAN HAPPY TO HOLD DISCS AGAINST A WORTHWHILE PARCEL, PROVIDED PAYMENT IS MADE FOR SUCH DISCS.
