Description
You are bidding on an unknown song poem by Margie M. Fuller called "Gas", a very timely country tune about fuel shortages. The record is a 10" 33 & 1/3 and appears to be a one-off recording, made of lacquer over an aluminum disc. You can listen to the entire song(mp3) if you like. This recording is, of course, made directly from the record you will be buying. As you can see from the photos, the surfaces are a little hazy, but the recorded part plays well and I would be hesitant to clean it due to the fragile nature of lacquer discs. The flip side is a gospel song which has been taped over to prevent playing, which makes me think this came from a radio station, possibly a regional novelty song? Margie, are you still out there??
