One of Sweden´s prime exports in terms of Death Metal – the mighty UNLEASHED! Two great songs here; "The dark one" and "Where life ends". This was UNLEASHED´s first attempt on Century Media and was according to metal-archives.com released in 2000 copies. Which sounds a lot to me as it was hard to come by even at time of its release. The 7" has been in my custody since the early 90´s and I´ve played it 4-5 times at most…the label on side 2 has a strange misprint – it states ""If they had eyes" – and has been cancelled out with a black marker. Not sure if the whole edition carries this somewhat peculiar phenomenon…?

The vinyl shows great lustre and there are only some VERY insignificant hairlines, when held from some angles under strong light. The audio excperience is crisp and clear and plays, part from the occasional "pop", PERFECT! The cover has MINIMAL storage wear; a slight beginning of ringwear and some bendings on left and right side respectively. A VERY conservative VERY GOOD PLUS.

I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. I only use the term "MINT" when the record is factory sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS

MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.

NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.

VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.

VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.

GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.

POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
