ISIDORE SOUCY ON COLUMBIA 16090-D
- Titles are 'Sugar House’ b/w 'Tit-Jus Jig'. I have only come across one more recording in this series and thIS recording like most others in the series were recorded outside Canada. This was recorded in New York and all of the issues between 16072 & 16092 feature French Canadian artists. They are quite scarce. The series was issued beginning in 1925, and continued until the early thirties and it appears that the records were pressed in Canada but the labels were printed in the USA. I am much indebted to Jack Litchfield for this information and much more is available online.

- The record is in V+ condition with light needlewear
- The labels are fine
- Shipping prices are $8.39. As many of you know, I have recently made the move to Canada. Despite higher postage charges I have committed to keep these costs roughly in line with those in the US even if it means that I make a small loss. All packages will be sent by airmail with tracking and my experience so far is that there has been no delay apart from on a few occasions and some parcels are getting through quicker than US media mail.
