Description

This is a very clean original 1967 Decca issued Savoy Brown Blues Band “Shake Down” 12” Stereo LP SKL 4883
UPDATE: "Been learning about labels and it is a "Boxed" version of the Decca label.
It's still a 1967 original but a separate pressing." Thanks, VinnyH
I grew up a big fan of Savoy Brown, jamming to Street Corner Talking as I learned to play guitar in the late 60s, early 70s. I just bought another expensive electric guitar and decided to let this go. Not sure how “rare” it is but I’ve had it since the early 70s and mostly I see the mono issue posted.
The cover is very clean with some slight yellowing with age. The cover is a little rough on the opening edge from checking the vinyl once and a while through the years. I don’t think I ever really played the vinyl all these years.     The vinyl is very clean with only a few fingerprints that should come off easily although I’m leaving that to someone with the proper cloth. There are no apparent scratches and the label, as shown, is like new. It is in the original Decca plastic lined sleeve.
Any questions, please message me through the eBay system. I don’t know how to technically grade albums like serious collectors and audiophiles do but this is a great overall piece.
