URIAH HEEP - DEMONS AND WIZARDS
A truly excellent condition UK 1st press copy of this Uriah Heep classic
Year/Label : 1972 UK BRONZE Label number : ILPS 9193 Matrix numbers : ILPS 9193 A - 1U, ILPS 9193 B - 1U Stampers : 1 3 GT / 2 RDExcellent (EX) condition vinyl - flat, weighty and retaining beautiful jet black lacquered sheen. In daylight the condition of the vinyl comes across as virtually unmarked and it is only with close inspection under a bright light that just a couple of small and very faint wispy hairlines and a few barely discernible paper scuff lines come into view - super condition! Each label is excellent with the only blemish being a few small and very faint rogue spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label. A very good plus (VG+) non-laminated outer sleeve. Such a beautiful Roger Dean designed gatefold sleeve, printer by Tinsley Robor, with all of the colours, art work, and texts remaining impressively intact with vibrant and crystal clear definition. The edges are firm with just the occasional light scuff mark on the bottom edges, more continmuous in the 2cm next to each corner. A rigid spine with just a couple of tiny nicks, no cardboard creasing or unwanted writing, and the opening edges remain firm also and with no fraying at all. There is a faint horizontal linemid way on the reverse side and and partially on the front side also, and also on the reverse side a couple of light score lines. Each of tehse blemishes is minor and I have tried to show each in my photos so do take a good look. The interior of the gatefold is near perfect with no blemishes at all. So not quite excellent (though I am sure many would class it as such) but certainly very close and remaining eminently presentable as well as fully functional. Comes with original interior lyric inner sleeve with no side splits and just a little mild ring wear scuffing. Terrific excellent (EX) (or even better) stereo sound quality throughout with no sticks, skips, repeats, distortion,or clicks and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum and virtually non-existent. Wonderful tone and crystal clear STEREO audio reproduction throughout with every track a great listen - classic prog with Heep at their zenith! Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original.
Uriah Heep in top form - no wonder this LP is regarded as one of the truly great prog albums - a "must have" for any serious prog/rock/metal vinyl collection.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
