Description
»Look At Yourself« ist das dritte Album von Uriah Heep, der Nachfolger zu »Salisbury«. Es erschien ursprünglich 1971. Zum Lineup, das an der Platte mitwirkte, gehörten David Byron als Sänger, Ken Hensley als Keyboarder, Gitarrist und Sänger, Mick Box an der Gitarre, Paul Newton am E-Bass und Iain Clark am Schlagzeug. Newton und Clark verließen die Band im darauffolgenden Jahr.
Als Gäste auf »Look At Yourself« sind außerdem Manfred Mann (Keyboards im Song »July Morning«) sowie Teile der Band Osibisa (Percussion im Titelsong) zu hören.
"Porky Cut" refers to George Peckham, one of the most renown mastering engineers of the world. He mastered thousands of LPs, including some of the greatest albums ever produced from groups such as The Beatles, King Crimson, Deep Purple The Who, Jethro Tull, Genesis, Led zeppelin etc. He was renown for the high quality of his work, cutting the grooves hot and filled with fidelity. Mr. Peckham is now retired, but his work lives on.
