URIAH HEEP
A truly excellent condition UK 1st press copy of this Uriah Heep classic
Year/Label : 1971 UK BRONZE Label number : ILPS 9169 Matrix numbers : ILPS 9169 A - 1U, ILPS 9169 B - 1U Stampers : 1 RD / 1 GH with "PORKY" etched onto side 1 dead waxTruly Excellent (EX) condition vinyl - flat, weighty and retaining beautiful jet black lacquered sheen. In daylight the condition of the vinyl comes across as virtually unmarked and it is only with close inspection under a bright light that just a few small and very faint wispy hairlines and barely discernible paper scuff lines come into view - super condition! Each label is excellent with the only blemish being a few small and very faint rogue spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label. A very good plus (VG+) condition non-laminated E.J. Day outer sleeve - the edges are firm with just the occasional sporadic light scuff mark - that includes the spine where the spine text remains nicely intact apart from the "AH" in "URIAH" being partially obscured by a light scuff. No ring wear and no unwanted writing. There is some minor light fraying on the right side edge of the mirror on the front side (see photo )and a few small and very light handling/storage marks, so not quite excellent but certainly very close and remaining highly presentable as well as fully functional. Terrific excellent plus (EX+) stereo sound quality throughout with no sticks, skips, repeats,distortion, clicks or background crackle. Wonderful tone and crystal clear STEREO audio reproduction throughout with every track a great listen - classic Heep...does heavy prog get much better than this?! Comes complete with original lyric inner sleeve which has a one cm split in the middle of the bottom edge and a 3cm split in the middle of the left edge. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. Uriah Heep at their very best - a "must have" for any serious prog/rock/metal vinyl collection.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
