Description
Now this is my Number 1 copy of Look at Yourself, bought way back in the day.....
The sleeve is "As New" now believe me that cannot mean as "manufactured" due to the fact that this LP and all others, were distributed from the pressing plant then unloaded at the retailer, then placed in a fairly unsophisticated alphabetical trough and handled and listened to many times prior to first purchase, that is exactly how LP's were sold back in 1972. A record could have been handled 20 times and listened to just as frequently(you could listen before buying back then, and if you didn't like it, walk away)
But this sleeve is exactly how you would have found it back then, it has the very lightest of marks here and there virtually no rubbing, now I'm being picky because I know how particular some collectors are...There is a minor crease bottom left (shown in the photos) maybe 1-2mm rubbing bottom right.
The die cut is exactly how it left the shop, there is a very slight indentation on the mirror maybe 8 mm long
The inner sleeve has minor creasing as shown and a tape repair to the top left (as shown)
The Labels are unmarked A-1U B-1U "Porky"
The record ( just test listened) plays perfectly both sides
The record has minor marking on the surface exactly how might be made from removing the LP from its sleeve.
The worst of these (no scratches are present on this LP) are at the beginning of "July Morning", which as I'm sure you know is a very quiet passage of music.
These marks are inaudible.
I am trying to be a precise as possible and will answer any questions, I realise that it might be a valuable record as I have been offered a small fortune for the sleeve alone!
The LP will be posted in a good quality mailer, all International sales have to be insured they will be posted "Airsure" if possible otherwise International Signed for.
