IMPORTANT NOTE: I have been a buyer of vinyl records on Ebay and elsewhere online for quite some time so I know well all pain and frustration the buyers get due to incorrect or misleading descriptions of records provided by some sellers (even 100 % positive - my experience) that unfortunately becomes an increasing problem on Ebay. So my description is made from a buyer`s and not from a seller`s standpoint. My goal is to sell and make purchase pleasant to a buyer otherwise why buy music.

Catalogue # 6360028 VO PRICE CODE. The matrices 1Y/1 2Y/1

This is an original 1971 UK STEREO 1st PRESSING on the VERTIGO SWIRL label complete with the polylined SWIRL inner sleeve.

The sleeve is in VG+ to EX- condition with overall storage wear (see pictures) having no creases. The spine is showing wear and scuffs but fully readable. There is a biro writing on the front cover - see picture. The back cover has general storage wear. The inside of gatefold looks excellent. All the corners and the edges also have general wear with some scuffs but no splits or any other serious defects. Overall this is an acceptable example of the sleeve to stay in someone`s collection until a better copy is found. 

The vinyl is in VG+ condition having many surface scratches but nothing deep. I have played it in full prior to listing and overall playback is with NO jumps, skips, pops BUT with stable well heard background noise.

The SWIRL labels are in excellent condition with only a small "S" written in biro on one lable - see picture. There are traces around the spindle hole on the white label but to see them you need to put it under the bright light. 

It has been in my collection for years and been well played but also carefully taken care of. I have recently upgraded it so this one goes up for sale. Overall this is a truly collectable 1st press copy of Uriah Heep`s outstanding album on a sought after SWIRL label that is undoubtedly a good investment even in such an imperfect condition as the price for this record constantly goes up. 

Grading is based on the Record Collectors Grading System.

PACKAGING

LPs are packaged in a manner to ensure safe traveling using stiffeners and professional envelopes to ensure safe arrival in the same condition as they leave. Records are removed from the sleeve in order to prevent seam splits in transit.
