THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE VERY RARE DEBUT LP BY THE BRITISH PROGRESSIVE GROUP URIAH HEEP ENTITLED "VERY 'EAVY VERY 'UMBLE" RELEASED BY VERTIGO RECORDS IN THE UK IN 1970 CAT NO 6360 006. THIS IS A FIRST UK PRESS WITH MATRIX NUMBERS OF 636 0006 1Y//1 420 1 AND 636 0006 2Y// 1 420 1 AND IS VERY NICE CONDITION.
THE VINYL IS IN VERY GOOD++ CONDITION IF NOT BETTER. UNDER A STRONG LIGHT I CAN SEE SOME LIGHT SUPERFICIAL MARKS BUT THESE DO AFFECT PLAYBACK ON MY SYSTEM. THE CONDITION OF THE VINYL IS REFLECTED IN THE AUDIO WHICH IS REALLY GOOD. I HAVE LISTENED TO THE WHOLE LP AT GREAT VOLUME AND OVERALL IT WAS A REALLY GREAT LISTEN. THERE IS SOME LIGHT STATIC BACKGROUND NOISE AND THE VERY OCCASIONAL STATIC POP BUT OVERALL I WOULD GRADE THE AUDIO AS AT LEAST VERY GOOD+.
THE LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD+ CONDITION WITH SOME STORAGE WEAR TO THE EDGES AND SPINE AND SOME LIGHT CREASING TO THE LAMINATE.
THE ORIGINAL SWIRLY INNER SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION BUT THE LP WILL BE SENT IN A NEW INNER.
OVERALL A VERY NICE COPY OF THIS VERY RARE LP.

Please note that i combine shipping for multiple buys. Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
