URIAH HEEP - VERY 'EAVY VERY 'UMBLE - Rare original German 2nd press on Vertigo swirl label. Cat. No.: 6360 006D, housed in outside laminated gatefold sleeve. UK Vertigo pressings were often of not the best quality, German pressings were usually of better quality. Vinly shows several very light marks and hairlines, mostly sleeve induced, but has no scratches. Visualy graded as VG+ . Both labels are clean and bright white, without extesive spindle marks. Second pressing labels have small Vertigo on both sides, but retain "A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT" on the lower rim of the label, that was omitted very quickly from UK pressings. Labels grade as EX. Outside laminated gatefold picture sleeve shows general modest wear of edges, corners and spine, that is still legible. No writings, tears or seam splits. Check the details on photos .
Playgrading : This record sounds great for its 40 years, plays with full dynamics, with rich, full, clear sound, without distortion. Light background noise and crackling are however present most of the time, but due to the loud nature of music remain buried under the sound of music except for the silent passages and between tracks. Vinyl playgraded very strict as VG.
All in all, not the perfect but still very acceptable German copy of the record for collectors of the fine sound and Verigo label.
