Here up for a bid is the very collectabel Uriah Heep LP Very 'Eavy..Very Umble 1st press on a Vertigo Swirl label...The record is also fully signed by the band...That said I have no way in proving that these autographs are genuine.

I picked this LP up many years ago from a market in London...I have taken close up pictures of the autographs, so maybe Someone out there can clarify if they are genuine or not.

Vinyl condition: I would only rate the condition of the Vinyl at VG...I'v played it and it sounds great with no skips or jumps, but there is some crackle in the quieter parts, but this does not ruin the overall sound experience.

Cover: The condition of the cover I can only grade at Good as there is plenty of shelf wear, and the dust cover is not an original Vertigo.

Label/Format: Vertigo – original full spiral in side one and large spiral logo on side two. Side two proves an ultimate first pressing as the song titles have NO writing credits. The second pressing has the songwriters printed next to the individual songs. (Please see my labels).

Label Conditions: There are some marks nothing to bad, no tears etc... The famous swirl logo on side one is there in all it's glory and looks good. Side two does have some grubbiness, but in good condition.

Cat Number: 6360 006.

Mode / Speed: Stereo / 33.3 rpm.

Warps:  no warping of any significance, and should play on all turntables and even ‘budget’ decks.

Rarity:  This LP is getting quite rare in any condition, like so many on this massively collectable label. This ultimate first pressing without the credits. The second pressing came within the same year and the first editions are at a real premium.

Original Year of Release 1970.

Matrix Nos: 6360006 1Y // 1 420 L 1 1 (last digit could possibly be a ‘7’) / 6360006 2Y // 1 420 L 1 1 .

Musicians: David Byron - lead vocals; Ken Hensley - organ, piano, slide guitar, mellotron and vocals; Mick Box - lead guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals; Paul

Newton - bass guitar, vocals; Ollie Olsson - drums, percussion.

Postage for the UK is £3.70 (Europe £8.50) Rest of the world 12.50 ALL postage will be signed for.
