For sale here is a VERY rare LP. the FIRST(in this condition) by URIAH HEEP called " VERY 'EAVY VERY 'UMBLE " and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK STEREO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press VERTIGO SWIRL label. THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS IS ONE OF URIAH HEEP's RAREST LP's EVER, AND HARDLY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE... TRY AND GET HOLD OF ANOTHER ONE!..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN STUNNING CONDITION...(have a look at my photo's) THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK 1970 STEREO 1st PRESSING ON THE 1st PRESS VERTIGO SWIRL LABEL. 1st PRESS A1 / B1 MATRIXES,  AND 1st PRESS FULLY LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE...THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE RECORD...this is the ORIGINAL VERTIGO SWIRL UK 1st pressing from 1970 and is in STUNNING condition!..The record is pressed on a slab of THICK black quality vinyl. Labels are the sensational Vertigo swirl format in excellent condition.With the largeVirtigo swirl logo covering the whole label on side A. and the small vertigo swirl above the central hole on side B. to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity.Has a few very minor spindle lines and NO damage of any kind. NO graffiti , NO rips NO tears, and NO sticker marks and would therefore grade as near as mint!!!!

Vinyl

Thickly pressed heavy weight  vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic . Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees , There are NO surface marks, scratches or blemishes at all, only 1 or 2 of  the tiniest faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever!!. excellent visual and impossible to locate even in this condition.Would therefore grade as near as mint!!!!

Sleeve

First issue fully laminated gatefold sleeve is showing only minor signs of storage wear at the edges with only a few laminate creases, the sleeve has NO rips, NO tears, NO graffitti or stickers whatsoever and is a pleasure to view.The sleeve is in excellent+++ condition and a Fantastic collectors item . The Spine is straight with minimal wear. This is a fine example of this sensational Vertigo swirl classic .

COMES WITH ORIGINAL VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE IN SUPERB CONDITION

Very 'eavy... Very 'umble is the debut album of British hard rock band Uriah Heep. It was released in the United States as Uriah Heep with alternate sleeve artwork, and with "Bird of Prey" in place of "Lucy Blues."

The album was generally panned by the mainstream critical press upon its release, although it has since been acknowledged as an early classic of the heavy metal genre. The most famous criticism came from Rolling Stone magazine reviewer Melissa Mills, who began her review, "If this group makes it I'll have to commit suicide. From the first note you know you don't want to hear any more." [1]

The original vinyl release was a gatefold-sleeve, featuring David Byron on the front sleeve, almost unrecognisable beneath the cobwebs.

The album was first released on the Vertigo label in the UK, as was the follow-up Salisbury, but both were quickly reissued by Bronze when the band signed to that label.

my records are condition graded visually in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:

MINT (M): Unplayed, pristine condition, often still sealed.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in almost brand new condition with no apparent surface marks, full original vinyl lustre, and no deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items are in near perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and/or packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record obviously has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and/or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably, perhaps with some distortion and/or scratches. The cover and/or contents may suffer from folding, scuffing, spine-splits, major discolouration, etc.
