Description

Marcel Hubert & Shura Cherkassky play Cello & Piano Sonata OP.19 by Rachmaninoff. Side 8 has Goyescas by Granados. The 4-12" shellac 78s have minimal spindle trails, good luster, no graying and a few rubs. Partial audition shows a level of 78 surface noise typical of mid 30s technology, graded VG+. The small label is consistent with mid 30s Columbias and is probably a very early issue. Album has cover fade, excellent spine and typical shelf and corner wear, graded VG+. Includes booklet.
