ROBIN LENT - Scarecrow´s Journey ( Nepentha 6306 908 ), Germany 1971
Robin Lent was an US songwriter, singer and guitar player, who "landed" in this time in the Netherlands, appeared in the Dutch HAIR ensemble, and recorded this album 1971 with the help from some Dutch prominent artist like Thijs Van Leer, Jan Akkerman (both from the legendary Focus) and other musicians - released on the collectable "Nepentha" label in May 1971. It´s reported in many publications, as one of the most excellent European ssw folk (rock) LP´s from this era. And...it´s true, including inventive compositions (NO fillers), with exquisite backing on all instruments in a moody melancholic vibe........
The front laminated gatefold cover is in excellent minus (ex-) condition, the only imperfection are some lamination defects, tiny signs of age on back cover (a "shadow" of beginning of ringwear)
The record is in top excellent minus to excellent (ex-/ex) condition, showing several fine, some fine middle long, hairlines only - plays great, only on a few parts very tiny surface cracklins
