MC5 - Kick Out The Jams ( Elektra EKS 74042 ) USA 1969
The legendary debut album from the Detroit / Michigan heavies - recorded on October 30/31 1968 live at Grand Ballroom in Detroit and released in March 1969 - a significant and one of the most "high energy" albums of their time.....This is an early US pressing on the "golden Elektra" label with "brothers and sisters" on their title track (the real 1st pressing has the censored "motherfuckers" word....) and WITHOUT Sinclairs political manifesto.....
The gatefold cover is in very good (vg) condition, showing several signs of age like wear on corners, seams and spine (all fully readable), partly ringwear - but NO serious defects
The record is also in very good to very good plus (vg/vg+) condition, showing several paper scuffs / hairlines / longer hairlines, surface marks - but NO deep marks or feelable scratches. Plays fine with only ocassionally tiny surface cracklings in some parts or here and there some tiny pops - but NOT in a disturbing way, mainly in the background only
